(Walking away from the interrogation room, Reese holds out her pen by only a couple of fingers, handing it to Crews.)
Reese: Here. Take it. (Crews takes the pen.) Anything that goes down his pants, you keep.
Crews: So what do you think ?
Reese: Well, I think he’s lying. I know he’s a drunk and a thief.
Crews: Or a non-conformist, a Western archetype, cowboy on the range…
Reese: You actually believe the crap you say ?
Crews: It’s not important what I believe. It’s important what he believes. You give a flower sun, it opens up. You give a man respect, same thing.
Reese: You think you’re working him ? He’s working you. Drunks are great at telling you what you want to hear. (Walks in the elevator.) Now you think he’s innocent. — S01E04
